The Taubman College Student Emergency Fund helps students like Carolyn in times of crisis.
Carolyn, (MUD '26), faced unexpected financial issues when her car broke down. Due to the expense of housing in Ann Arbor, she depends on her vehicle to get to campus. "Thankfully, the Taubman College Student Emergency Fund provided me with crucial support when I needed it most. With the help of this funding, I was able to stay on track with my coursework. This allowed me to focus on my education without the added stress of securing a high-interest loan."
In the 5+ years since its inception, the Taubman College Student Emergency Fund has assisted 84 students who experienced urgent fiscal crises. With this fund, near-immediate financial support can be directed to students in any Taubman College program. This has proven, over and over, to make the difference between a student taking a leave of absence or graduating on time.
