OUR MISSION

The University of Michigan Women’s Rugby Football Club is one of the most elite rugby programs in the nation. We are devoted to building a team rooted in camaraderie and respect. Michigan rugby strives to provide all members with an opportunity to thrive in a team setting and foster a community of commitment and hard work. We are dedicated to supporting our members in growing as rugby players, athletes, and students during their time on the team and beyond. However, to do this we need your help! Join us this giving day to help support our team in our efforts to create an accessible and dedicated community of Michigan Ruggers.

TEAM 45 AND BEYOND

In 2022, Michigan women’s rugby won its first-ever national championship title in Houston. The following year we became back-to-back national champions, and last season we had three National Collegiate Rugby All Stars! Since then, we have set higher standards for ourselves and continue to work to become what we know we are capable of – victors! However, to continue to meet our goals and succeed in upcoming seasons, we need YOUR help! Donations allow us to continue to build our team through the skill refinement of our vets and the discovery and development of our rookies.

WHAT YOUR DONATION WILL DO

It is no small feat to build and maintain a successful rugby team. Donations are critical for traveling to games and tournaments including playoffs and nationals. Your donations allow us to compete at the highest level by funding our travel costs, which include renting buses and vans, purchasing plane tickets, and securing lodging. We are also looking to fund trainers, which would support our goal of keeping our team competitive and healthy. Our athletes dedicate themselves to our team and it is important to be able to take care of them as the elite athletes that they train to be.

THE MICHIGAN DIFFERENCE

Our players are Michigan students. They came here to achieve great things and that is what we strive to support them in. Any given member of our team is strong, fast, can tackle, can maul, and WILL FIGHT to be a victor. Your donations make it so a Michigan rugby player and their teammates have to worry less about the…

• $150 to drive to and from playoffs.
• $150 to stay at a hotel.
• $250 to register for nationals.
• $400 to fly to and from nationals.
• $250 to represent their school with the right game day kit.
