The Interpersonal Violence Research Laboratory (IVRL) partners with communities to prevent sexual and other forms of violence and to support survivor healing and recovery. Our work centers Native American/Indigenous and LGBTQ+ communities and is guided by community leadership, strengths-based approaches, and culturally grounded, research practices. Through these partnerships, we develop and evaluate initiatives that reduce violence, promote safety, and support healing in communities most impacted by interpersonal violence.
