Support the Woodson Fund, Support Hope
The Charles Woodson Clinical Research Fund at University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital is committed to advancing innovative research ideas that have great potential to transform treatments and offer real cures to the children who need them most. Woodson Fund researchers are leading groundbreaking studies in more than 26 specialties, including ADHD, cancer, asthma, autism, obesity, congenital heart disease, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, kidney disease, and more.
Pediatric research is consistently underfunded, with as little as 10% of the National Institutes of Health budget supporting research for childhood illnesses. The Woodson Fund addresses this gap by supporting creative, outside-the-box concepts in the early stages of development that can lead to the most groundbreaking advancements, therapies, and cures. It also ensures that researchers have access to crucial lab services, and we’re building an endowment to impact future generations.
You can make a difference. On Giving Blueday, your gift to the Woodson Fund will enable U-M scientists and doctors to pursue bold ideas and advance critical studies for children everywhere. Together, we can provide families with better options, clearer answers, and more hope.
Please note: Contributions added to an existing endowed fund, and distributions from the Fund will be made in accordance with the University’s then existing endowment distribution policy and used and administered as provided in the documents establishing the Fund.
