We urgently need your support as the community we serve faces the uncertainty of SNAP benefits while at the same time Food Gatherers (the nonprofit organization that supplies Maggie’s Marketplace) faces cuts in federal funding.
The average number of individuals served has increased dramatically. Unfortunately, this led to a five-day stretch of nearly empty shelves in the final days of the month, and the pantry cannot keep up with the need.
The growth in demand from Maggie’s Marketplace highlights the critical need for continued support. With your help on Giving Blueday, Maggie’s Marketplace can keep its shelves stocked, ensuring that more families and individuals have access to the food they need in the months ahead.
Your gift on Giving Blueday can bring relief in the following ways throughout the year:
- $20 provides feminine hygiene products for one month
- $50 provides infant diapers for one month
- $65 provides basic food needs for one person for one week
- $70 provides infant formula for one week
- $100 provides basic food needs for a family of two for one week
- $175 provides basic food needs for a family of four for one week
- $700 provides basic food needs for a family of four for one month
