The Combined Program in Education and Psychology (CPEP) is a nationally recognized, interdisciplinary program exploring how social contexts—like classrooms and schools—shape student identity, learning, and well-being. By integrating insights from both education and psychology, CPEP advances knowledge about how individual and environmental factors interact to influence development and academic achievement. Our doctoral students receive rigorous training in cutting-edge research, preparing them to tackle educational challenges across diverse communities and cultures, both in the U.S. and internationally. Community support sustains this vital work, helping us develop effective strategies that improve learning opportunities and outcomes for all students.
