Support U-M Anthropology student research around the world!
ANTHROPOLOGY STRATEGIC FUND - 308085
From primate observations in the rainforests of Borneo to interviews at the Indy 500, and from language immersion in Peru to an archaeological dig in Cyprus, U-M Anthropology students are exploring questions about humanity’s past, present, and future.
This year, we’re raising Giving Blueday funds to benefit undergraduate and graduate student research. Financial support for student research is more essential than ever, due to recent federal cuts to programs that support anthropological fieldwork. Your generosity today will enable our students to travel, learn languages, purchase equipment, work in labs, present at conferences, and prepare themselves for a variety of exciting and impactful careers. Thank you for helping to advance the next generation of anthropologists!
Your gift goes further thanks to generous matching donors! One of those donors, Julie Stroh, said: “This match is my way of celebrating a chair whose leadership has helped shape our anthropology community. I hope it inspires others to join me in honoring that impact and supporting the students and scholarship that carry the department forward.”
