Your gift to the Mechanical Engineering Impact Fund empowers students by supporting hands-on learning in our laboratories, manufacturing, and design courses, equipping them with the resources they need to lead and learn, and meeting other vital needs within the department. Your support opens doors for students in our classrooms, research laboratories, and maker spaces.

• $50 buys 20 pairs of safety glasses for the undergraduate machine shop.
• $100 helps a student attend a regional networking event, where they can form meaningful connections that will support their future in mechanical engineering.
• $300 provides a variety of new hand tools for the manufacturing courses.
• $500 covers the registration fees for a student’s attendance at a regional or national conference.
• $1,000 offsets the cost of running and maintaining 3D printers for rapid prototyping.
• $2,000 enables the launch of an independent study project.
• $5,000 sponsors one senior capstone project.
