About

The Division of Student Affairs at UM-Flint enhances student life through 11 dynamic departments and over 100 student organizations, creating a vibrant campus community where students thrive academically and personally. From recreation and wellness to student support services, DSA cultivates an environment of belonging, engagement, and holistic development.

Join us in supporting UM-Flint students by making a gift to the Division of Student Affairs this Giving Blueday. Together, we can ensure every student has the resources they need to succeed.

Please consider supporting one of the following focus areas for Giving Blueday:

UM-Flint Student Affairs Opportunity Fund

Life is full of unexpected events, some of which can create serious hardships for students and their families. The Student Affairs Opportunity Fund offers financial assistance and other resources to support students with one-time unexpected hardships or emergency costs that would hinder their education.

By making a gift today, you can help make a tremendous difference in a student’s life. The fund ensures that students can continue their education without interruption by offering timely support for urgent needs such as housing, food, medical expenses, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Recreation Student Staff Development

Recreational Services provides a variety of programs, facilities, and services for students to engage in and become active on campus. From building supervisors to event assistants, sports officials to marketers, we rely heavily on student staff to make our operations possible.

Please make a donation to the Recreational Services Gifts fund today to support our student staff’s development and growth at various educational conferences. For each $100 raised, we can cover a student’s registration fee! This will allow the department to focus on funding transportation and other costs for the students to ensure there are no financial barriers to attending.
