The College of Arts, Sciences & Education at the University of Michigan-Flint focuses on developing highly skilled, resilient, and principled leaders who can address some of our community’s most challenging issues.
We have selected funds from each department that would benefit from your support.
College of Arts, Sciences & Education Opportunity Fund - 362928
This college-wide fund has the broadest impact and supports enrichment experiences that connect us with the Flint community. Both faculty and students are eligible to apply for funding; a few of the projects we supported last year include:
- Purchasing materials for Psychology interns working with children at Camp Hope
- Supporting student-led psychology research into grandfamilies raising grandchildren
- Facilitating an immersive art exhibition and live ambient music performance at Riverbank Arts

Flint Communications Studies Gifts - 328285
The Communications Studies program offers students significant community-focused service learning opportunities and client-based courses. Your generous support helps us celebrate our students’ achievements at an annual awards ceremony, fund internships and professional development opportunities for our students, and support faculty as they develop innovative new curricula.
Flint Theatre Department Gifts - 305259
When you support our theatre program, you support community building and enrichment beyond our campus’ borders. Past donations have funded production materials, guest lecturers, student travel to regional and national theatre events, and more. Help us extend our co-curricular activities, including experimental productions and community-centered performing art experiences.
Flint Psychology Department Gifts - 305257
There’s a reason that UM-Flint’s Psychology program is one of the most popular in the state! Your generosity funds opportunities for students to develop a deep skillset and prepare for rewarding careers in psychology and beyond.
