Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan (DMUM) supports children with disabilities and illnesses and their families by raising funds and generating awareness for pediatric therapies at the University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
Contrary to name, DMUM is not a dance group. Throughout the year, DMUM members volunteer, fundraise, foster relationships with families, and prepare for VictorThon where they stand for 24 hours to show their support for children with disabilities and illnesses.
DMUM is committed to uniting the U-M campus and community to support children by encouraging, inspiring, and strengthening opportunities for physical, social, and emotional development.
Throughout DMUM’s 28 year history, the organization has raised over $6.7 million for pediatric therapies.
