Cost Assistance for Resilient Engineers (CARE) is a charitable, student-run organization aiming to help all Michigan engineering students facing financial crises. Every year, 5-7 Michigan Engineering students are forced to drop out of college solely because they endure a financial emergency and are suddenly unable to pay for their college tuition. These are situations like a severe illness in the family or a parent’s loss of job that can happen to anyone. Inspired by our fellow students in need, we made it our mission to allow every student to continue pursuing their dreams. By tapping into our awesome University of Michigan community, we've been able to raise enough funds to endow our scholarship and help one student each year for the past seven years! But we can't stop there -- we won't give up until no student is left behind.
