Michigan Club Softball consists of 17 players, who as a team compete in the Great Lakes Conference of the National Club Softball Association (NCSA). These players practice twice a week for a large majority of the academic year as well as weekend competitions throughout the fall and spring. Michigan Club Softball competes at a high level, reaching the national tournament multiple times in the last 5 years. As a club sport, the softball team is responsible for all equipment and uniform costs as well as travel costs for away trips, including hotels, vehicles/gas, and meals. Please help us continue to eliminate costs for our players and enable us to have reliable, usable equipment.
Testimonials from players on how Club Softball has impacted their college experience:
"Club Softball has single-handedly made such a great impact on my experience at the University of Michigan. This opportunity has served as not only a necessary outlet for maintaining both my physical and mental health in between heavy course loads, but also introduced me to some of my best friends. Having a team that cares about each other a lot, but also strives for excellence and works very hard is rare, and we are lucky that we get to experience the fun and social things together, as well as the competitive atmosphere that comes with being the #1 ranked club softball team in the nation." - Elsie Norton, #2, Class of 2026
"I get a chance to play the sport I love with a group of people that I love and that makes this huge campus feel just a little bit smaller. I have made so many awesome memories and experienced so many amazing things that I wouldn't have otherwise had the opportunity to do!" - Genna Urbain, #4, Class of 2026
