Why Support?
Our team partners with an NGO in San Cristóbal Verapaz, Guatemala, to develop engineering solutions for everyday challenges, like smoke inhalation from open fires and limited access to clean water. Your support helps cover the cost of materials for improved stoves and travel expenses for our team to visit families, assess their needs, and implement sustainable solutions.
Our Mission
Sa’ Nima’ Collaborative aspires to aid our partner organization, CasaSito, in promoting access to educational and economic opportunities for underserved Guatemalan students and their families through the co-creation of socially-engaged engineering solutions. Through our projects, we seek to equip leaders with skills to advance the common good.
Sa' Nima' Collaborative Travel 2025
During our trip this summer, members of Sa' Nima' will build ventilated stoves for families of Casasito scholars. We will also visit the homes of scholars to learn more about their needs to structure our future project and ensure we are aiding the community. In addition, our members will hold two engineering workshops with the scholars at Casasito, one in San Cristóbal Verapaz and one in Antigua. Through this collaboration we aim to educate and excite students about STEM related careers, with hopes of inspiring them to pursue diverse paths that foster economic growth.
