Who are we?
BlueMUN is the University of Michigan’s only competitive Model United Nations team. Founded in 2016 by two Michigan undergraduates with the goal of competing on the national collegiate Model UN circuit, BlueMUN gives members a space to engage in their shared interests in debate and international affairs. Our team is proud to be one of the Top 50 ranked collegiate teams in the nation, and with several of the largest conferences and many awards under our belts, our team is continuously growing and improving.
What do we do?
Even when we’re not traveling across the country to compete at conferences, our team loves to spend time together. We host weekly meetings where we discuss current international affairs, learn about topics that our fellow members are passionate about, and practice problem-solving. We host social bonding events throughout the year, engage in professional development, and even embark on local philanthropic efforts. BlueMUN may be a competitive team, but more than that, we’re a family!
What will your donation do?
A donation to BlueMUN would help advance our goal of ensuring all students can compete at conferences, regardless of financial constraints. We believe that each of our members equally deserves the professional and personal development that accompanies participation in collegiate Model UN conferences.
