Building Tomorrow's Leaders

Last year, we raised over $3,000 for the cadets of Detachment 390—a remarkable achievement made possible by your unwavering support. This Giving Blueday, we are setting our sights even higher with a goal of raising over $5,000 to continue empowering our cadets—and we need your help to make it happen!

Your Impact

Your generosity directly strengthens the Air Force Officer Education Program at the University of Michigan. With your support, we gain the flexibility to enhance training and development opportunities for the next generation of Air Force and Space Force leaders.

Thanks to your contributions, we have already provided essential items like t-shirts, sports gear for PT, funding for our Normandy Staff Ride, and unit patches for our cadets. Importantly, your donations help build a strong, connected Detachment 390. Your support has funded unique and engaging events such as Friendsgiving, mentorship group activities between POC and GMC cadets, a special Halloween Haunted House trip, and other team-building experiences that strengthen camaraderie among our cadets!

Upcoming Initiatives

Your donations allow us to offer unique and enriching experiences for our cadets. This year, we plan to fund:

Additional Base Visits: Offering real-world exposure to Air Force and Space Force operational environments.
Cadet Spaces in Observatory Lodge: Designing and furnishing lounges, offices, training rooms, and more in our new ROTC facilities.
Dining In & Out Events: Fostering camaraderie, preserving military traditions, and starting our first combat dining-in!
Air Force Marathon Sponsorships: Supporting cadets in this meaningful test of endurance and discipline.
Professional Development Trip to Washington D.C.: Enabling cadets to visit national monuments, tour the Pentagon, interact with other detachments, and learn about our nation's founding ideals.
