The Office of Multi-Ethnic Students Affairs (MESA)
- For over 50 years, MESA has engaged and helped transform the student co-curricular experience through vibrant enrichment and belonging opportunities for all students.
- Your gift will help MESA provide support and programming including celebrations, educational offerings, and opportunities to build social capital.
The Office of Student Conflict Resolution (OSCR)
- OSCR advances a mission to build trust, promote justice, and teach peace within the University of Michigan community. OSCR’s core work is pivotal in cultivating a safe, just, and peaceful community by offering a comprehensive range of conflict resolution pathways. In fulfilling our mission, OSCR employs a predominantly peer-based facilitation model across all its activities. These include individual, organizational, and community conflict support, a wide range of consultation resources, and conflict education workshops. Each of these is undertaken with a restorative focus on meeting individual and community needs while creating the conditions for the effective repair of harm.
- Your gift will help OSCR continue to provide proactive and preventative educational initiatives that Build Trust, Promote Justice, and Teach Peace, for students, student organizations, faculty and staff.
The Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center
- The Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center offers prevention education for students, confidential support for survivors (students, faculty, and staff), and collaborates with other offices to offer trainings, programs, and innovative community engagement strategies to collectively create a campus free from violence.
- SAPAC is committed to the belief that all people have the right to live free of violence. We provide critical services for those in our campus community who have experienced sexual misconduct, and design programs to prevent violence from happening in the first place. Students are at the center of this work and they create positive social change every day.
- Gifts to SAPAC support the student volunteer programs, educational programming, and the Survivor Fund, which provides emergency funding to survivors.
