The Michigan Marching Band is one of the most recognizable and respected groups on the University of Michigan’s campus. Built on tradition and excellence, the MMB brings creativity and innovation to its performances.
Students in the MMB develop essential skills in time management, leadership, and teamwork – all of which serve them well beyond their college years. They balance rigorous academic studies with the demands of rehearsals and performances, mastering the ability to excel under pressure. Along the way, they create lasting memories and friendships, forging connections that extend far beyond their time in the band. Through it all, they deliver state-of-the-art halftime shows that captivate audiences and uphold the band’s legacy of excellence.
