About the Project
The Erb Institute Student Support Fund supports Impact Projects, the signature action-based learning program of the Erb Institute. Impact Projects (formerly Cool Projects) are experiential learning opportunities for Erb students to apply and build their business sustainability skills outside of the classroom.
Impact Projects provide students with opportunities to grow and apply their knowledge and skills while advancing the Erb Institute’s efforts to create a sustainable world through the power of business.
Gifts to the Erb Institute Student Support Fund directly support students by enabling them to attend industry conferences, complete sustainability skills training and certifications, participate in case competitions and participate in action-based collaborative projects with the institute’s business, NGO, and public sector partners.
Mission Statement
The Erb Institute is a partnership between the Ross School of Business and the School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) at the University of Michigan. The institute’s mission is to create a sustainable world through the power of business. We do that through research, teaching, and business engagement—all focused on preparing and supporting bold business leaders who can adeptly transform companies, industries, and entire economies for systemic sustainability.
Please note: Contributions added to an existing endowed fund, and distributions from the Fund will be made in accordance with the University’s then existing endowment distribution policy and used and administered as provided in the documents establishing the Fund.
