Emergencies and unexpected hardships can make the pursuit of a medical degree even more difficult.

Unplanned challenges can greatly impact a learner’s physical and mental well-being, and even interfere with their ability to remain in medical school and pursue a degree in medicine. Your contribution to the M.D. Emergency Student Aid Fund can be the much-needed lifeline that enables U-M medical students to continue working toward their goals in medicine.

Your donation could help students cover costs for temporary housing, meals, childcare, technology, medical expenses, transportation, and other needs that might arise.

When our learners experience discouraging and difficult events, we want them to know that they have our U-M Medical School community with them every step of the way.
