Dean’s Scholarships at the University of Michigan Medical School are awarded to outstanding learners who will become the next great physicians, scientists, teachers, and leaders in medicine. Some of these learners come from underrepresented populations, others are first-generation college students, and many earned degrees in non-scientific fields during their undergraduate studies.

Once here, they bring with them the undeniable talent and dedication that will change medicine. They pursue promising research, volunteer in the community, provide care to the underserved, and help to enhance medical education.
