The Law School Fund supports our entire mission at Michigan Law. As our primary source of discretionary funding, it provides support for core programs, student scholarships, faculty research, clinics, and many significant initiatives. The Law School Fund’s unrestricted nature ensures that resources are readily available to seize new opportunities and respond to challenges as they arise.
By giving to the Law School Fund, you can help make an impact on the most immediate needs of the Law School and its students. In recent years, generous donor support of the Law School Fund has:
- Provided funding for scholarships to ease the financial burden on our exceptional students
- Empowered students to pursue impactful public interest careers through a generous Income-Based Loan Repayment Program
- Supported the Legal Practice Program, which provides hands-on professional training for all 1Ls on topics including research, writing, advocacy, counseling, and drafting
- Provided funding for a variety of experiential learning opportunities, including externships and clinical programming
- Supported ongoing maintenance to the Law School’s iconic academic buildings and facilities.
