Your contribution to the M-Engin Academy will help ensure that entering College of Engineering students will have the skills and knowledge needed to achieve academic success, while having access to opportunities and experiences to enhance their personal and professional skills. The M-Engin Academy provides an on-campus summer transition program for students during the summer before their first academic term at no cost to the student. During this summer program, students are able to preview first-year academic expectations through rigorous coursework, become acclimated to the campus environment, and learn about the many resources that will help them achieve success. The M-Engin Academy support will continue into the academic year with structured peer study groups, individualized academic coaching, community-building activities, and further personal and professional development activities.
Your gift will help cover the costs associated with the summer program including room and board, instructional staff, and classroom supplies. Program support is also used to cover costs of experiential learning activities, which may be a barrier to many of the participants.
