The ECE Fund supports a wide variety of activities and initiatives to improve the educational experience of our students. Student projects, research and professional opportunities all will benefit from your investment, as will our community outreach efforts and engagement of strategic partners.
This fall we launched the Program for Undergraduate REsearch in ECE (PURE-ECE) program. PURE-ECE provides undergraduate ECE students with an opportunity to engage in year-long research activities within ECE academic disciplines. Through this exposure to research, students are expected to gain valuable research skills while fostering academic retention, building community, and exploring paths to graduate school. Students accepted to the program will participate in an undergraduate research symposium in April, culminating their PURE-ECE experience.
Here is how your gift directly makes an impact within the PURE ECE program:
- >$250- supports procurement of essential research resources.
- $500- supports the enrichment of the program community through guest lectures and specialized workshops.
- $1,000- supports the research symposium where students present their year long work.
- $2,500- ensures that a year-long project can be successfully completed, allowing students to push the boundaries of existing technology.
- $5,000- covers the costs of a summer research project for a student, leading innovations across all areas within ECE.
