About

Join us in supporting our 1st Generation Engineers - students who are the first in their family to pursue a four-year degree!

Our organization aims to make the first generation identity more visible among the engineering community and provide support for the unique challenges that they may face in the engineering discipline. Through mentorship, professional development, community development, and campus involvement, our mission is to create a community of scholars with similar backgrounds to empower first generation student to overcome barriers and create a sense of community among its members within the College of Engineering.

With your help, contributions raised during Giving Blueday will go towards our general fund which helps our organization support students through community-building events, peer mentorship, our annual scholarship, hosting corporate and professional development events, and more!
