Women's Ice Hockey

Michigan Women's Hockey provides women the opportunity to play hockey while furthering their academic success at a top ranking institution. Our team is made up of nearly 26 members, and as a student-run organization our team leadership is responsible for managing our budget, team operations, and remaining in competitive standing. The existence of our program and others like ours is vital in order for the continued development of women's hockey.

We are seeking to fundraise $5,000 from the Club Sports Kickoff this year to fund our November trip to play the University of Minnesota for the first time in team history! We are also hoping to fund a trip to Liberty University in January to play the #1 team in our league.

Strength of schedule is factored into our division's rankings, so scheduling games against competitive teams like these gives our team the best possible chance of qualifying for the ACHA National Tournament this March and representing the University alongside the top teams in the country.
