Climbing

The Michigan Climbing Team is a student-run organization focused on fostering competition, leadership, and community through the sport of climbing. Our team represents the University of Michigan in the USA Climbing Collegiate Series, competing at local, regional, and national levels, as well as in community events across the Midwest. We strive to challenge ourselves, support one another, and continue growing the sport of climbing at our university - and further, by inspiring those who watch and follow our journey.

We are raising funds for travel and competition-related expenses, making competitions more accessible for our athletes.

This is important to our team right now because many of our athletes face financial barriers that limit their ability to compete and represent the University of Michigan at the highest level. By raising funds, we can ensure that all team members have the opportunity to participate in competitions without the burden of excessive travel and competition costs. This will not only enhance individual performance but also strengthen the overall success and unity of the team, allowing us to focus on training and competition rather than financial constraints.

By alleviating financial barriers now, we can foster a culture of inclusion and success that will continue to attract and retain talented climbers, ensuring the long-term growth and sustainability of the Michigan Climbing Team.
