About

Wow! We have surpassed our initial goal of 10K before midday! Can you help us reach our stretch goal before the end of the day?

The Future Alumni of Michigan (FAM) scholars program aims to increase enrollment of low- to moderate-income admitted students — especially first-generation college students — at the University of Michigan by reducing financial barriers with four-year renewable scholarships. Through the FAM community, the Alumni Association also aims to foster a sense of belonging and future readiness by connecting scholars with peers and accomplished alumni who support their academic, professional, and personal development.

Join other Wolverines in making an early gift — you’ll be one of the first to make an inaugural gift to FAM!

By supporting the FAM scholars program, you play a key role in expanding access to life-changing education and creating pathways for exceptional students to attend the University of Michigan. Your support enriches campus by fostering a community of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Share our mission with everyone you know! A gift to the Future Alumni of Michigan scholars program makes an impact for generations to come.

WOLVERINES SHARE WHY THEY SUPPORT FAM:

“I support FAM scholars because I believe in building greater access and opportunity for more students. The Michigan experience is built on the idea that the best learning communities are shaped by students from different lived experiences, diverse backgrounds, and cultural perspectives.” Wayee Chu, ’97

“For all the great causes in the world, we believe that education is the universal unlock that empowers the talent needed to solve any other problem. For nearly a decade, we’ve supported the Alumni Association’s scholarship programs like FAM that help give the brightest, most deserving minds in the world access to Michigan, especially when they may not otherwise be able to attend.” Joel, ʼ95, and Adrienne Jones
