We are raising money to keep the Michigan Running Club cheap and affordable. Running is meant to be an accessible and inclusive sport.
Specifically, we have a goal of raising $1,000 to help fund our nationals trip for NIRCA track and field this spring! MRun offers not only long distance and sprint running, but hurdles, steeplechase, throws, and jumps as well. We welcome everyone, from casual to competitive runners. Therefore, anyone on our club can run at the nationals competition.
MRun is the official running club of the University of Michigan! Founded in 2004, we are proud to be one of the largest collegiate running clubs in the nation! We are raising money to keep the Michigan Running Club cheap and affordable. Specifically, we have a goal of raising $1000 to help fund our nationals track and field meet this spring! We are competitive in the collegiate running world, and are affiliated with the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association. We compete at NIRCA Championships against other clubs, and race at both NCAA and NIRCA meets locally. We offer a diverse variety of events, from the 8K, long jump, and even shot put, which gives our athletes the opportunity to compete at a high level! This past cross country season, our women’s team won the National title, and our men’s team took third. At the 2025 NIRCA Track and Field Championships, our women’s team took the National title, and the men’s team placed in fourth. Our strong sense of community and year-long training opportunities help us to perform our best!
The Michigan Running Club welcomes casual and competitive runners alike! There is no requirement to participate in races, nor are there cuts to the team. Running is meant to be an inclusive sport; thus, any member of MRun can run at the nationals competition!
