About

Black Students in Aerospace (BSA) at the University of Michigan is a student organization committed to increasing the visibility of Black people in the aerospace and aviation industry. At BSA, we aim to create an academic and social community amongst those already pursuing a space-related education at UMich, as well as to foster participation in the industry for interested outsiders.

The BSA Diversity Scholarship will support prospective students with a will to address social inequalities through engineering. The scholarship application will consist of an essay (rhetoric communication) asking the student to describe a personal project (technical skills) that left an impact on both the student and the student’s community. Your support allows us to develop the next generation of human-centric engineers. Thank you.
