Since 1983, the Comprehensive Studies Program (CSP) has worked to provide an academically enriching and holistically supportive environment for thousands of scholars. CSP works to close opportunity gaps created by systems of oppression and supports students that come from a variety of backgrounds, including being the valedictorian of their graduating class, the first-generation in their families to attend college, historically underrepresented at the University, or have attended smaller high schools. CSP plays an integral role in supporting the University of Michigan’s efforts to attract, retain, and graduate the brightest minds from all across the state of Michigan, the country, and the world.

With your help, we can minimize barriers to inclusive and equitable education and provide need-based undergraduate scholarship support to some of U-M’s most talented students. Your gift to the CSP Student Support Fund will reduce or replace qualifying student loans for CSP students at any point of their undergraduate career.

Donor generosity supports our mission to:

• Foster a supportive learning community that empowers students to take ownership of their learning, and be leaders in and beyond the university
• Advocate for the recruitment, matriculation, and persistence of minoritized student populations
• Help CSP become the national standard for anti-racist, inclusive, and accessible education
• Bridge opportunity gaps by providing comprehensive academic support for 3,000 U-M students
